List of Privately Managed ChargePlace Scotland EV Charge Points
The ChargePlace Scotland (CPS) network that since 2011 has been funded and managed by the Scottish Government is undergoing a transition. As the CPS contract comes to an end, many charge points across Scotland are being transferred to new private charge point operators. The transition process is targeted to complete at the end of 2025.
Some of these charge points are located on privately owned land, and provided by small and medium size for and non-profit businesses who are based in rural locations.
SRITC would like to understand more about the current experience that these businesses are having as they search for and negotiate a new contract with charge point operator.
Your support in highligting businesses that you know of in the area where you live who are struggling with the transition process will enable us to escalate on their behalf to Transport Scotland.
To assist you with the identification process, we have curated a list of all of the businesses across Scotland that we know have ChargePlace Scotland EV chargers installed on their premises.
