Special Virtual Cafe: BYOC - Helping Scotland's Rural & Island Businesses and Community Centres to Become EV Charge Point Hosts

This special SRITC Virtual Café:BYOC will explore the opportunities offered by Transport Scotland’s Rural and Island Infrastructure Fund to support small public facing private and third sector businesses with the installation of electric vehicle charge point(s) that help to meet growing demand from visitors, residents, staff, volunteers and local service users.

In keeping with SRITC’s ethos the Café will be educational and practical (no sales pitches), helping businesses who are interested in the benefits of EV charging but want a clearer understanding of the opportunity, the practical requirements and the risks before taking the next step. The cafe will provide you with much needed practical information.

The event will  bring together suppliers and chargepoint hosts to openly discuss the realities of installing, operating, and maintaining different type of public chargepoints at different types of rural locations. You can learn from the lived experiences of others.
